Due to significant business growth, we are currently looking to employ a Staff Grade Physiotherapist to join our team in Limerick, on a full-time basis. You would be based in Co. Limerick; however, this role will include travel to clients in the surrounding counties. Working as a Chartered Physiotherapist in our team will involve:

Occupational Therapist – Full Time – North Dublin

Permanent Occupational Therapist –  HealthcareDirect – Dublin

HealthcareDirect are currently looking to employ a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role you will be based in Dublin and you will be working in nursing homes settings which include Reablement services. You will work in a fully supported environment lead by our Multidisciplinary Therapy Clinical Manager, and Occupational Therapy Clinical Leads, and be given the opportunity to work autonomously in the private healthcare sector. The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Deliver a comprehensive Occupational Therapy service to Adults and Older Adults consisting of physical, sensory and cognitive assessment and intervention
  • Devise and carry out appropriate assessments e.g. seating, hoist & slings, functional and meaningful activities of daily living  Assist individuals in becoming independent following physical, social, emotional and mental-health difficulties
  •  Work with other Healthcare Professionals such as Nurses, Social Worker, Speech &Language Therapists, Physiotherapists etc
  • Liaise with patients’ families and other relevant agencies  Active engagement in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) e.g. Staff Training Days

Working as a Occupational Therapist in our team will involve:

  • Completing thorough and detailed assessment, using appropriate clinical techniques and equipment
  • Recording information in line with ISCP guidelines and client local policies and procedures
  • Delivering evidence-based intervention / treatment to all service users, in line with the ISCP
  • Providing appropriate advice based on the patient’s medical, social and cultural circumstances
  • Formulating and delivering individual treatment programmes using clinical assessment and reasoning skills
  • Developing treatment plans / goals, assisting and enabling patients to achieve their treatment goals and targets
  • Maintaining accurate, comprehensive, contemporaneous patient records in line with ISCP standards of practice

The post holder will require the following:

Hours of Work:

The hours will based on candidate availability and caseload growth.
