Occupational Therapist – Wexford – Permanent Part Time

HealthcareDirect are currently looking to employ a permanent part time Occupational Therapist to join our team in Wexford. You will work in the community and private nursing home setting, initially on a part-time basis 6 hours per week (24 hours per month) with potential to increase hours based on candidate availability and caseload growth. You will work in a fully supported environment lead by our Occupational Therapist Manager and be given the opportunity to work autonomously in the private healthcare sector. The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

-Deliver a comprehensive Occupational Therapy service to Adults and Older Adults consisting of physical, sensory and cognitive assessment and treatment.

-Work with other Healthcare Professionals such as Nurses, Speech & Language Therapists and Physiotherapists.

Dietitian- Part-time – Kildare/ Wicklow – Part-time

HealthcareDirect are currently looking to employ a part-time Dietitian to join our team. You will work two days per week (15 hours) in community based centres in Kildare & west Wicklow.  You will work in a fully supported environment lead by our Clinical Managers and be given the opportunity to work autonomously in the private healthcare sector. The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

-Assessing and advising a wide range of patients with diet-related disorders on the practical ways in which they can improve their health by adopting healthier eating habits.

-Calculating patients’ nutritional requirements using standard equations based on assessments of blood chemistry, temperature, stress, mobility and other relevant factors.

-Analysing the nutritional content of food (including new products).

-Working as part of a multidisciplinary team in hospitals or in a community setting to gain patients’ cooperation in following recommended dietary treatments.

-Educating other healthcare professionals about food and nutrition issues.

-Advising client’s catering providers about the specific dietary requirements of patients.

-Writing reports and case notes and maintaining accurate records.

Occupational Therapist Adult Intellectual Disabilities -Co. Meath – Permanent Part-Time

We are now recruiting for a part time (1 day per week) Occupational Therapist position in Meath, working with adults with developmental disorders and/ or intellectual disability.

Physiotherapist – Kildare/South Dublin-Reablement & Residential Care – Permanent Part-Time

This role will include 15 hours in a site designated for hospital reablement discharges as well as a number of weekly 3 hour sessions in nursing homes within the area.

Working as a Chartered Physiotherapist in our team will involve:
